Description |
Pink half sheet of paper that advertises for an ice cream saver made by Stoll Manufacturing Company. The top of the paper has "Save-A-Cream" in bold letters below a drawing of the clips used to keep the ice cream lid closed. The left side of the paper has a drawing of a large ice cream container with the clips visible on top. The right side of the paper has a circle with the words "Top Of Ice Cream Can" with an image of the clips attatched to the sides. There is writing on the bottom right of the paper that says "Stoll Mfg. Co. La Crosse, Wis." There is more information on the product themselves that is transcribed in "Notes & Legal". |

Top of the paper has "How To Use The Save-A-Cream" with stars or flowers on either side. There is more information in the center that is written as follows: "Just slip it over the top rim of the ice cream can as shown in the illustrations. And tighten the thumb screws. Fill the dipper with ice cream and as you take it from the container draw it across the SAVE-A-CREAM BLADE, the over hanging or excess ice cream will fall back into the can. Your dip will come out nice and smooth all around. SAVE-A-CREAM IS CHROMEUM PLATED THEREEFOR IS RUST RESISTING." This artifact was donated by Matthew & Agnes Stoll's family. |
