Notes	Jesse Higbee grew up at 1602 Ferry Street. He married Edna Coren, a girl from his neighborhood (she grew up at 1420 Cass Street). They raised three daughters in their home at 401 West Avenue South. Jesse practiced law in the Linker Building in La Crosse with his father, Edward Higbee. He also served as La Crosse City Attorney. He died at home in 1943 at age 61. He is buried at Oak Grove Cemetery. This biography was written by relative Richard O'Neill.
