   Apron panel, hand-stitched, Hmong white tradition. Embellished with plastic beads in green, gold, pink, blue, red, and magenta. Borders are lined with gold lace and triangles made of yellow, white, pink and green fabric. Two sashes sewed onto each end on the top of the apron. Embellished patterns are similar to the patterns on cuffs and collar line of women's jacket from same donation.

6. Hat - 2015.014.01

   White Hmong (Hmoob dawb) hat in cotton and synthetic fabric, hand stitched, with long stitch needlework and plastic beads. Neon green fabric topped with silver lace trim line the top and bottom of the hat. Yellow cotton fabric lines the interior. Two beaded pieces of string sewn acoss the interior of top of hat to give it a triangular shape (front view) once it's worn.

   White Hmong (Hmoob dawb) traditional hat made with cotton and synthetic fabrics, hand stitched, applique and cross-stitch embroidery; plastic beads throughout. Triangular edged top, lined with bright pink fabric topped with silver lace trim. Bottom of hat lined with neon green fabric. Interior of hat lined with blue fabric. Three beaded strings sewn across the interior top of hat to give it a triangular shape (front view) once it is worn.
