Worn by conductor Frank J Italiano during the 1970s when conducting in the summer months. He was conductor of the La Crosse Symphony, the La Crosse Youth Symphony (which he started) and the Symphony of the Hills, in Dodgeville. Also conducted in the bandshell at Myrick Park during the Coulee Region Festival of the Arts, renamed in 1971 to be the Great River Festival of Arts. |
