Provenance |
Wedding dress worn by Martha Geneva (Ellefson) Hanson on April 21, 1931, when she married Irvin Hanson at the English Lutheran Church in La Crosse. Irvin passed away in 1946. Martha remarried a year and a half later to Walton Minor. Martha and Irvin's daughter, Helen Brieske, used lace and satin from her mother's first wedding dress to create the ring bearer's pillow (1997.137.24) for her 1960 wedding. |
