Description |
Evenlyn Spratt's satin wedding dress. Ivory satin wedding dress with satin cummerbund at the waist. Crepe ivory bodice yoke is trimmed with imitation pearls, iridescent sequins, and small white beads. Yoke is trimmed with creamed colored cord in the shape of a v on the front and on the back. Draped over the bodice is machine made lace on the front and back. The lace on the front is tapered below the waist and one sequin and beaded pom is on either side. Skirt has two distinct layers. The bottom layer is ivory satin with a 4 inch hem. The top layer is ivory crepe rimmed with matching cord as the bodice and 8.5 inches of machine made scalloped lace. The sleeves have one horizontal pintuck and are trimmed with 3 inches of machine made lace. Dress is entirely sewn by hand. The dress has a center back closure of hook and eyes. |
