World War II Red Cross volunteer uniform. Uniform is a cotton chambray with a white collar and cuffs. There is a sewn on patch on the left sleeve "American Red Cross Volunteer". There is a center front button closure with nine buttons. Left breast pocket with an embroidered red cross and an attached round pin "American Red Cross Volunteer". There are two pockets on the front below the waist and a matching belt of the same material. There is also an accompanying hat of matching chambray material with a white flap with an embroidered red cross in the center. |
