Description |
WWI Red Cross doctor's uniform pants, jodhpur style, army green, 2 front pockets and 1 small front pocket at the waist, 2 back pockets that button, pants lace closed from knee to ankle along the outside of the calf (with brown laces), belt loops along the waist, pants button closed at the front center with 4 buttons. Buttons that close the pants and that are on the pockets are army green plastic and have the words "MacDougal & Co. Paris" written in white. The inside waistband is lined with the same cream and brown striped fabric as the lining in the sleeves of the matching jacket. There are 6 buttons on the inside of the waistband that look as though they were used for suspenders, the buttons are tan plastic with the words "MacDougal & Co. Paris" written in brown. An inside tag reads "MacDougal & Co., 1 bis, Rue Auber, Paris, No. 5326, Date 9/6/1918, M. D. E Evans". |
